Jewish gematria values

jewish gematria is an ancient system of interpreting the numeric values associated with Hebrew words and phrases. It is a Kabbalistic practice which uses numeric values assigned to the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet to interpret words, phrases, and stories from the Bible. Each letter of the Hebrew alphabet is assigned its own numerical value, ranging from one to four hundred. By applying the one-to-four hundred additive system, passage or phrase numbers can be determined. This practice went beyond merely finding quantifiable numbers and took on its own set of spiritual implications regarding fate and predetermined destiny.

The concept of gematria can be traced back approximately 2,000 years ago when it was documented by Jewish mystics in the first century AD. Originally used as a mnemonic device or as an exercise for memorizing material in Jewish religious studies, Jewish Gematria eventually became a means for interpreting sacred texts through symbolic insight and greater understanding. By connecting a specific number to each letter, certain words could be analyzed more deeply in order to gain further insight into their meanings and interpretations. It was believed that this practice opened up profound secrets otherwise hidden within the texts of holy literature and provided access to God's handiwork.

Some believe that by deciphering the numeric meaning behind words they can accurately decode messages found in various historical texts written in Hebrew language such as The Bible or The Torah. This belief led some mystics to associate these numeric values (or "energies") with yet unforeseen events or messages related to revelations about one's life or destiny regardless if such information had been previously revealed through any other sources whatsoever.

Gematria was studied by renowned rabbis such as Rav Michael Luria who published at least three separate treatises on gematria topic, as well as other celebrated scholars from different eras including but not limited to Rashi, Rabbi Yaakov ben Asher and Abarbanel who were also great proponents of this system throughout history (and beyond). Furthermore those previously mentioned rabbis constituted what we now refer today as 'Sod Ha-Kabbalah' which translated literally stands for "The Secret of Kabbalah" where such phenomenons have been explained with greater precision according certain mathematical laws proposed by them during several centuries ago also referred thus far as 'The Universal Law' (which goes beyond than mere knowledge achieved though ancient wisdom practices).
